Greetings All, Just a fast note to keep you updated on the latest happenings. ----------------------------------------------- Lb2010 - VERSION 4.2.9 RELEASED: Our beta testers have given version 4.2.9 ''two thumbs up'' so we have sent it to the web server for download. This is a free update and may be downloaded and installed from; http://www.lottobuster.com/update.html Version 4.2.9 is a major update in that it contains two of the most user requested features... abbreviated and key wheels (over 300 of them). In addition it has a suite of wheel utilities that will help you maintain your wheel databases including the ability to import custom wheels. Two other major additions is the addition of sortable header columns on all columns of all reports and an Internet Connection Wizard to walk you through a step by step diagnoses should you encounter LiveUpdate connection problems. VERY IMPORTANT: To insure you do not have installation problems, be sure that you follow the install instructions on the download page. Be ESPECIALLY mindful that the Lotto Buster Cd must be in the Cd drive during the installation and initial launch of the new version. Also be sure to check out the help files on how the new futures work and how they can best be utilized. ----------------------------------------------- TELL A FRIEND: In case you have not noticed, Lotto Buster is one of the best keep secrets on the Internet. This is not intentional and we need your help in getting the word out. Programming this type of software is a "cash eater" that must to be fed. Since, unlike other companies, we do not charge for program updates, database updates, support, etc, new registrations are our only source of income. If we are to keep improving Lotto Buster, and providing all the free goodies, we need registrations, and a lot of them. You can do your part in helping Lotto Buster move forward by letting your friends know that they need to stop bumming numbers off you and purchase their own copy of Lotto Buster. ----------------------------------------------- WHAT'S NEXT FOR LOTTO BUSTER: We will be going over our ''to-do'' list this week to decide what new features to add and which ones to improve. Recently many Lotto Buster users who have developed proven strategies have been sharing their ideas by posting them to the eBoards. These discussion groups are an excellent place to exchange lottery strategies, swap ideas, and get answers for the lottery games that you play or just about anything having to do with the lottery in general. It is also a great place to post your own questions and comments. The major problem is that everyone is coming and going at different times and missing each other. A recent poll of users showed that Saturday mornings and .Sunday evenings are the preferred times for lotto chat. Today the $5.4 million is gone and Adams lives in a trailer. Ken Proxmire filed for bankruptcy within five years of winning $1 million in the Michigan lottery. ''He was just a poor boy who got lucky and wanted to take care of everybody,'' explained Ken's son. ''These type of stories are all to common.'' Says J.D. ''When you win a large jackpot, you can count on a thousand different hands trying to reach into your pocket and, if you let them, they will take it all.'' So, when you do become an instant millionaire, how do you handle the avalanche of money request you are going to receive? ''Before your windfall becomes public, you should isolate yourself until after you have met with a financial advisor and worked out a plan for your new life,'' says Anderson. ''Call your boss and let him know that you need a leave of absence. Call your close relatives and friends and let them know you are taking a ‘time out’, then find a first class hotel, or cruise line, and disappear until after your plans are made.'' • Who’s Your Friend? Nothing gains you more friends then having a lot of money and suddenly you will start hearing from those distant cousins (twice removed). Decide beforehand who your true friends are, which family members are close to you, and how much of your money you are willing to give away. I say give away because no one is going to pay you back. Hey, its ok not to pay you back because, after all, you are a millionaire, right? Once you decide on your limits, stick to them. When you get a request that’s outside your plans, simply tell them that your money is tied up with an investment firm and you cannot touch it. • Investing With Family and Friends: The best way to alienate a family member or lose a friend is to go into business with them. Everyone you know is going to have a great business idea that cannot miss. In reality, there is a 97% chance it’s going to fail and hard feelings are going to set in when money gets tight. When approached with a business opportunity, refer them to you investment councilor and make your decision on his advice. • The Bottom Line: ''Many instant millionaires did not set limits when trying to help family and friends and they wound up losing the money, family members, and friends'', says Anderson. ''Even when you’re broke, they will want more.'' ''So be prepared to lose some ‘so-called friends’ and some ‘close family’ members because it is going to happen.
