Version 4.3.9.9

The update posted on this page will allow you to update your Lotto Buster software to the most current version available. It is a FREE update and available to registered users of Lotto Buster 2002 (and greater).

Depending on the brand of your antivirus and firewall programs, you may experience an inability to connect with ''LiveUpdate'' after you have installed this update. This is because some brands of antivirus and firewall programs may view your new version of Lotto Buster as a totally new program. Should this be the case, you will need to reset the permissions of your antivirus and firewall programs to allow the new version of Lotto Buster access to your internet connection. If you still encounter any problems attempting to using LiveUpdate please read LiveUpdate Troubleshooting.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
You will need your Lotto Buster Cd and your Cd key (found on the back of the Cd case) to install this update.

A MORE IMPORTANT NOTE:
Each time we post an update, we are swamped by support request.
99.9% of the time it is a problem caused by failure to read and/or follow the instructions posted below.

Installing Lotto Buster Updates:
For ease of installation, this Lotto Buster 2010 update is packaged as a self extracting, self installing program.

Before You Begin:
  • If you are running Windows Xp, Vista, or Windows7, it is IMPORTANT that, before you begin, you are logged-on as an Administrator or as a user with Administrative privileges.

  • If you have a version of Lotto Buster already installed, you should install this update into the same directory as your current installation as this will allow you to continue using your current data bases and preferences. If you do not know where your current Lotto Buster is installed;
    * Open Lotto Buster.
    * On the Lotto Buster main menu bar, CLICK 'File'.
    * On the drop down menu, SELECT 'LB2010 Directory Location'.
    The path show will be where your current software is installed.

  • If you have a version of Lotto Buster already installed, you should uninstall your old version before installing this version.
    (this WILL NOT uninstall your databases or other data files)
    To do this:
    * Click START on your Windows bar
    * Click SETTINGS
    * Click CONTROL PANEL
    * Click ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS
    * Find Lotto Buster on the program list
    * Click on Lotto Buster to uninstall older version

    Easy Install;
  • Place your Lotto Buster Cd in your Cd-Rom drive.
    IMPORTANT: Leave the Lotto Buster Cd in the CD-Rom drive during the entire
    following process.  If the Cd is not in the Cd-Rom, the installation will fail.
  • If the Lotto Buster is open, close it.
  • If the Lotto Buster Install program launches, close it.
  • Download the Lotto Buster setup program (lbSetUp.exe) to a temporary directory.
    (Be sure to remember the directory where you have downloaded the lbSetUp.exe)
  • Close all Windows programs including Lotto Buster and those that run in the back ground, such as antivirus, firewalls and install monitors.
  • Using Windows Explorer, open the temporary directory.
  • Double click the downloaded file (lbSetUp.exe).
  • The files required for installation will be extracted and the Lotto Buster install program will be launched.
  • Follow the on-line prompts.
  • After installation is complete, restart your system.

    If You Are Running Vista or Windows7;
    It is important that before installing Lotto Buster that you be logged on as Administrator or as a user with Administrative privileges.

    After Installation:
    During the program install, Lotto Buster will replace the program launch icons on your Windows ''Desktop'' and in the program group folder named ''Programs / Lotto Buster'' found in your Windows start menu.
    On each of these new Lotto Buster launch icons...
  • Right click on the Lotto Buster 2010 launch icon and select Properties.
  • Select the Compatibility tab.
  • Make sure the box next to ''Run this program as an administrator'' is checked.
  • Close the 'Properties' box

    If You Are Running Windows Xp;
    It is important that before installing Lotto Buster that you be logged on as Administrator or as a user with Administrative privileges.

    After Installation:
    Check your DEP (Data Execution Prevention) settings.
    If you have changed the default DEP setting from the default of;
    'Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only'
    to the second option;
    'Turn on DEP for all programs and services'
    Make sure Lotto Buster has been added to the 'Exclude' list.

    To Launch Lotto Buster 2010;
  • Click Lotto Buster launch icon that was installed on your Windows ''Desktop''.
  • If prompted, you may be required to input your Cd Key.
